The PX-A 3-Channel Mixer and Headphone Amplifier is a single beltpack unit that accepts three audio signals, lets you mix them however you like, and passes on the mixed signal to your in-ear monitors, earphones or headphones.

CHOOSE YOUR SOURCES

You choose what you need to hear and adjust as needed during performance. Singers, for example, need to control their own volume, but will also need to hear whatever instruments they rely on for a pitch reference. SoInput 1might be an aux mix including only their vocalor a mix of all vocals with their voice loudest;Input 2could have a mix of guitar and keyboards, andInput 3could be a mix of bass and kick drum. This is just one example!

POWER OPTIONS

The PX-A Mixer can be powered by two AAA batteriesor, more reliably, a 9V / 2A center-negative power supply connected to a PX-B Snake (we recommend the XviveA2 Power Supply). The ethernet cable, which can be up to 200 feet long, conveys both the audio from the console and the PoE (Power over Ethernet) from the power supply!

MIX AND PAN

Not only can you adjust your master earphone/headphone volume and the levels of your three chosen channels, but you can also pan the channels (left, right or center) using DIP switches located inside the PX-As battery compartment. This can help you hear better by isolating the channels.
